Coatesville Rotary Foundation Grant Process


Purpose

The purpose is to establish a fair, consistent, accessible, process for organizations to apply for a grant from the Coatesville Rotary Foundation, utilizing the funds obtained from the Strawberry Festival.



Grant amount

Grant may not exceed $5,000 The Rotary Grant Committee will recommend to the Rotary Foundation the amount awarded, to each organization approved for a grant.


Eligibility

To be considered for a grant, applicants must meet the following criteria:

· Must be a registered 501© (3) or 501© (4)
· Must provide service to residents in the Coatesville area 19320 zip code
· Must submit the complete application package (partial application packages will not be considered)
· Completed application include: Grant application, 50l© (3) or 501© (4) designation, FY financials, and support   signature of  a Coatesville Rotarian.



Announcement of Grant cycle

The grant cycle will be announced in the Daily Local, on the Rotary and Rotary Foundation websites, and shared via email to social service organizations.


  • Grant cycle October: Open September 15th and close for submission of application October 15th



First step of the grant process:

  • Download and complete application

  • Completed application must be submitted by the deadline October 15th to:
    ​Coatesville Rotary Club Foundation, 279 Hurley Road, Coatesville, PA 19320



Responsibility of Grant Recipient
Grant recipients must use the funds in accordance with the project proposed in their grant application and must be willing, if requested, to come to a Rotary meeting to share the collective impact of their initiative.


Notification of Grant Awarded

Each grant recipient will receive written notification of their selection; the amount awarded and instructions for presentation of the check.
