Rotary in Support of Mental Health!
The Rotary Club of Coatesville was proud to support the Coatesville VA’s Strides to Prevent Suicide 5K, standing alongside community members in support of mental health awareness and suicide prevention. As part of Rotary’s commitment to promoting mental wellness and strengthening our community, club members hosted an outreach table and connected with participants throughout the event. Rotary member Jen Givler laced up her running shoes and participated in the 5K alongside local Interact students, demonstrating the power of service, support, and community engagement. Events like these help raise awareness, encourage important conversations, and remind those facing mental health challenges that they are not alone.

📣 Service Opportunity – Fall Road Clean Up
Volunteers are needed for the Rotary Club of Coatesville’s bi-annual Fall Road Clean Up! Join fellow Rotarians, family members, and friends for a morning of fellowship and service as we help keep our section of Lincoln Highway clean and beautiful. This is a great opportunity to make a visible impact in our community while enjoying time walking and talking with others. Children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews are encouraged to participate and experience the value of community service firsthand. If you're interested in joining us, please see Grover Koon to sign up and be part of this rewarding project. Together, we can make a difference right here in Coatesville! 🌿🧹🚮
Upcoming Projects & Volunteers Needed!
📚 Rotary Dictionary Project
The Rotary Club of Coatesville is teaming up with the Thorndale Rotary Club to visit third-grade classrooms in five local schools and provide each student with a dictionary. During our visits, we'll share how dictionaries can be valuable tools for learning and everyday life, while also introducing students to Rotary and its worldwide network of service-minded leaders. Stay tuned for more information on this impactful literacy project & how you can get involved! 🌎📖💙💛
🧥 Q4 Service Project: Annual Coat Drive
The Rotary Club of Coatesville is proud to kick off our Annual Coat Drive, benefiting the Salvation Army and local residents in need throughout the Coatesville community. Led by Illaria Steele, this impactful project has collected more than 500 coats this past year alone, helping keep our neighbors warm during the winter months. This important effort takes a team, and we're looking for up to five volunteers to help with collection, sorting, and distribution activities. If you'd like to make a difference and get involved, please see Illaria or Lea for more information. Together, we can help bring warmth and comfort to those who need it most! 🧥❤️
